Our favorite time of year is just around the corner! Spring has almost sprung, and we LOVE getting a jump on our warm weather decor. We're always inspired by vintage, romantic style - and anything that makes us feel good. But we know it can be hard to find the time to tackle a huge makeover. So we've gathered a few ideas and fun additions for your spaces - that anyone can do in 1 day! 

COLORFUL RUGS

We say go big or go home. Break out the bright pinks, lovely violets and duck egg blues. Scream Spring with a new rug this year! Simply throwing down a new area (or entry way) rug can completely change the mood of a room within minutes. Especially for those of you who rent, or prefer not to paint, switching up your rugs is an easy way to add pops of color. 

PATTERNED HEADBOARD

We're obsessed with all things buffalo check at the moment - so we had to try covering our boring wooden headboard with some of our favorite fabric. And can we just say - we LOVE it! it just screams fun and warm weather goodness. If you don't have a lot of time (or money) this is another easy way to change up the mood of your rooms without much work at all. Your local fabric stores should have plenty to choose from - simply measure, staple and voila! 

FRESH LINENS

This one may cost a pretty penny, but it's more than worth it. There's simply nothing better than fresh, sun dried linens in the Springtime! We like to splurge every year and change up our own sets - mixing patterns, ruffles and colors to create a one-of-a-kind bed of our dreams. Linen is also the best fabric for sleeping, naturally breathable and cooling for the warmer days ahead. 

STATEMENT PILLOWS

The easiest way to change up a space (for any season) is with a good stock of decorative throw pillows. We love a ruffled, linen set for Spring - mixing vintage prints and light pastels (and florals, of course). And the more the merrier! Not only will you create a super comfy space for you and your loved ones, but you'll have endless opportunities to add color and personality to your rooms. 

NEW CURTIANS 

Just like an area rug, curtains can completely change the mood of a room in just a few minutes. Switch it up and find what works with the rest of your deocr. We like adding a bit of color (since all of our shabby chic inspirations usually rotate around white) and it's fun to play around with length and windows as well.
